Santa Teresa has been tauted as the "the next Tulum," and for good reason. The small town is filled with cute cafes, upsale shopping, bustling nightlife, amazing energy, yet the feel of being yet discovered.

I spent almost two weeks here over New Year's Eve and was able to do a little self-reflection in the face of 2023. I got to hone my skills in surfing, as well as hike a beautiful waterfall, meditate to many sunrises, ride a scooter through the rainforest, eat more ceviche than my stomach could handle, and make a lifetime of new friends.
